Im Frühjahr 2025 haben wir in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Stadt Wien und einer Vielzahl an weiteren Partner:innen ein Zentrum für Bildungsinnovation eröffnet. Unser Ziel ist es, mit dem neuen Bildungszentrum einen Ort zu schaffen, an dem sich Pädagog:innen, Bildungsinitiativen, sowie weitere Gestalter:innen in Politik, Wirtschaft und Verwaltung treffen, vernetzen und voneinander lernen können. So können sich die wirkungsvollsten Lösungen und Innovationen rasch verbreiten und schnellstmöglich in die Kindergärten, Schulen und das Bildungssystem gelangen.

Wir suchen eine:n Community Lead, der/die mit Begeisterung für Bildung den Aufbau und die Lebendigkeit unseres neuen Zentrums für Bildungsinnovation gestaltet. Du bringst Erfahrung im Community Building sowie in der Organisation von Veranstaltungen und Programmen mit und möchtest dich in der Frühphase einer ambitionierten Initiative einbringen. Dein Ziel ist es, eine lebendige und inspirierende Community aufzubauen, die positive Veränderungen in Kindergärten, Schulen und im Bildungssystem bewirkt.

Verantwortung

Du bist die zentrale Ansprechperson für den Aufbau und die Pflege einer lebendigen und engagierten Education Lab Community. Dazu gehört, attraktive Mitgliedschaftsangebote sowie sinnstiftende Möglichkeiten für Begegnung, Mitgestaltung und Zusammenarbeit zu entwickeln.
Du gestaltest und leitest Veranstaltungen, Programme und kollaborative Formate, die auf die Bedürfnisse unserer Mitglieder eingehen.
In enger Abstimmung mit unserem Space Management Team trägst du dazu bei, dass das Education Lab ein Ort bleibt, an dem Menschen sich inspiriert fühlen, zusammenzukommen, zusammenzuarbeiten und Neues zu schaffen.
Du baust aktiv starke Beziehungen zu Pädagoginnen, Kindergarten- und Schuldirektorinnen sowie anderen Schlüsselakteur*innen im Bildungssystem auf und pflegst diese.
In enger Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Marketing Team erzählst du die Geschichten unserer Mitglieder und Projekte. Du unterstützt die Gewinnung neuer Mitglieder, steigerst die Sichtbarkeit und sorgst dafür, dass Menschen die passenden Angebote, Netzwerke und Kontakte finden.
Du hast stets ein Gespür für die Community - hörst aktiv zu, sammelst Feedback und passt deine Arbeit entsprechend an. Du bist immer auf der Suche nach Möglichkeiten, den Mehrwert zu erhöhen, Verbindungen zu vertiefen und neue Energie sowie Perspektiven ins Education Lab zu bringen.

Eigenschaften

Die Fähigkeit und Freude daran, mehrere Projekte gleichzeitig zu managen, anspruchsvolle Veranstaltungen zu organisieren und intensive Kommunikation zu pflegen.
Du fühlst dich wohl darin, Events und Programme zu gestalten und zu moderieren, und liebst es, Räume zu schaffen, in denen sich Menschen willkommen, inspiriert und bestärkt fühlen, miteinander in Verbindung zu treten.
Du hast ein gutes Verständnis des Bildungssystems in Österreich und bist motiviert, mit Pädagoginnen, Schuldirektorinnen und anderen Changemakern zusammenzuarbeiten.
Du bringst Erfahrung in der Arbeit im Bildungsbereich mit.
Du kommunizierst selbstbewusst und klar – sowohl schriftlich als auch mündlich – auf Deutsch und Englisch.
Du arbeitest gerne kollaborativ, kannst aber ebenso selbstständig Initiative ergreifen und Projekte eigenverantwortlich leiten.
Du verfügst über eine gültige Arbeitserlaubnis für Österreich (oder bist berechtigt, eine zu beantragen).
Ausgezeichnete schriftliche und mündliche Kenntnisse in Deutsch und gute Kenntnisse in Englisch.

Angebot

Arbeitszeit: 25 - 40 Stunden/Woche mit einem flexiblen Arbeitszeitmodell
Startdatum: September/Oktober 2025
Vergütung: Das Jahresgehalt für Vollzeitkräfte beträgt zwischen 43.484 € und 63.672 € brutto (Vollzeit), abhängig von Ausbildungsgrad, Qualifikationen und Berufserfahrung (unserem internen Gehaltsschema entsprechend). Es unterliegt einer jährlichen Inflationsanpassung (erste Anpassung im März 2026). Die Stelle ist zunächst auf 18 Monate befristet, mit der Option auf Verlängerung.
Arbeitsort: Education Lab (1040), sowie Mitbenutzung von Impact Hub (1070), Climate Lab (1090) und Future Health Lab (1100)

In spring 2025, we opened the Education Lab in close collaboration with the City of Vienna and numerous other partners. Our goal with this new education center is to create a place where educators, educational initiatives, and other key stakeholders from politics, business, and public administration can come together, connect, and learn from each other. This way, the most impactful solutions and innovations can spread quickly and find their way into kindergartens, schools, and the education system as soon as possible.

We are looking for a Community Lead who is passionate about education and eager to shape the development and vibrancy of our new Center for Educational Innovation. You bring experience in community building as well as in organizing events and programs, and you want to contribute during the early stages of an ambitious initiative. Your goal is to build a lively and inspiring community that drives positive change in kindergartens, schools, and the education system.

Your Responsibilities

You're the go-to person for building and maintaining a vibrant and engaged Education Lab community. This includes designing appealing membership offers and meaningful opportunities for connection, contribution, and co-creation.
You'll design and oversee events, programs, and collaborative formats that respond to the needs of our members.
In close coordination with our space management team, you help ensure the Education Lab remains a place where people feel inspired to meet, collaborate, and create.
You actively build and maintain strong relationships with educators, kindergarten and school leaders, and other key players across the education system with the goal to understand their challenges, amplify their impact, and create bridges between them and the broader community.
Working closely with our Communications Lead, you’ll help tell the stories of our members and projects. You’ll support member attraction, foster visibility, and make sure people find the right opportunities, networks, and connections.
You keep a pulse on the community - listening actively, gathering feedback, and adjusting your work accordingly. You’re always on the lookout for ways to increase value, deepen connections, and bring new energy and perspectives into the Education Lab.

What you bring

You’re comfortable designing and facilitating events or programs, and love creating spaces where people feel welcome, inspired, and empowered to connect.
You have a good understanding of the education ecosystem in Austria, and are excited to engage with educators, school leaders, and other changemakers.
You have experience working in the educational field.
You communicate confidently and clearly - both in writing and speaking - in German and English.
You enjoy working collaboratively, but can also take initiative and lead projects independently.
You have a valid work permit for Austria (or are eligible to obtain one).

Job Specifications

Working hours: 25 to 40 hours/ week with a flexible working time model
Start date: September/October 2025
Compensation: The annual salary for full-time employees ranges from 43.484€ to 63.672€ gross, depending on education level, qualifications, and work experience (according to our internal salary scheme). It is subject to an annual inflation adjustment (first adjustment in March 2026). This position is initially limited to 18 months, with the option for extension.
Work location: Education Lab (1040), with shared use of Impact Hub (1070), Climate Lab (1090), and Future Health Lab (1100)
